Description
Our school participated in the "Every 15 Seconds" program about scaring kids from drinking and driving. This is the logo for the tee shirt design. The original concept was by my friend and colleague John, but the execution and final design was mine (shown here).
The theory is that, now, every 15-30 seconds a person is killed in the US by a drunk driver. The logo depicts the grimm reaper pointing the the 15 minute mark on a clock as the moment of death. The heartbeat line (later colored red) flattens behind the logo. I colored it in with markers, but the final coloring was done by the tee shirt printer. All the participants really got a kick out of it and the final package was going to be submitted to some competition via MADD.
