Adele cosplay

At work today, I was requested to dress as a celebrity for a pep rally. I asked my 2nd period and they yelled "Adele!" To be honest, I didn't know who she was, but decided to go for it.

Getting the wig was interesting. I didn't have anything appropriate, and buying a wig online was out, so I went scooting around town trying to find something at the last second. The costume shop closed early, the beauty supply stores didn't have anything, and the extension booth was too expensive.

Finally, one of the sales women in the mall suggested the "adult" shop across the way. I've never been in one of these stores before, but you do what you have to do. Thank goodness I did, because the wig was beautiful and affordable. Best one I've every had.

The problem came when I was checking out. I turned around and there was a former student of mine walking into the sex shop. Not the best place for a teacher to be seen, even if it was for a purely innocent item. Fortunately, he knew what I was there for and loved the idea. I'm tempted to go back as the rest of the wigs I saw were just as great, but am leery about meeting another student. ::shaking head::
